Adult Foundations Class: Our Anglican Heritage

For the past 500 years, most Anglicans and Episcopalians around the world have held to a statement of faith titled "The Articles of Religion," also known as the 39 Articles. But what do the y actually say?
What do they mean? Together, with Tripp Gordon we will explore the articles for six weeks!

1/26 - Intro and Overview
2/2 - Who is God and How Can We Know Him ? (Articles 1-8)
2/9 - Why was Jesus necessary/How can we be saved? (Articles 9-18)
2/16 - What makes a church a Church? (Articles 19-24)
2/23 - What actually is a "sacrament"? (Articles 25-31)
3/2 - What makes Anglicans unique? (Articles 32-39)

Join us in the Courtyard Classroom in between morning services from January 26 through March 2 to gain a deep understanding of the theological underpinnings of the Anglican tradition, exploring both its historical roots and its ongoing significance in the church today. This class is for adults of all ages.
